Parent Support Group -

For Village Participants

Parents of older teens and young adults play a critical role in helping their kids transition to independence. Laurie Nelson, LCPC helps a group of parents develop a better roadmap for parenting a neurodivergent kid – including improving communications, being the best possible “executive function coach”, setting realistic expectations and creating consequences that change behavior.

Parent Consultations

Families can struggle with how emotions get expressed, how family members communicate and how the dynamics of the family either help or hinder the movement of the young adult into the next phase of their life.  Laurie Nelson, LCPC provides families with one-on-one consultations to help solve the problems challenges associated with raising a neurodivergent child.
