For prescription refills, please notify us three (3) business days in advance using the patient portal, email or phone call. This permits us to insure the best service and efficiency in processing your prescription. We call, email or fax prescriptions directly to your pharmacy.

Insurance

1. Your insurance will not reimburse at 100% of what you’ve paid out of pocket. It’s always best to contact them before starting services to find out what your percentage rate will be.

2. If your insurance requires prior authorization for out of network services, we will be happy to speak with them directly. You will need to provide a copy of your insurance card front and back.

3. All direct that Thrive provides are reimbursable with the exception of Executive Functioning Coaching, Attending and Job Coaching.

4. Some insurance companies require a signature or additional paperwork be submitted. Thrive will assist you with this process after the initial evaluation in order to facilitate reimbursement to you.

Missed and Cancelled Appointments

The time you reserve for an appointment is valuable. Once an appointment is scheduled, we ask that you make every attempt to either attend or let us know at least 2 business days (Monday through Friday) in advance for cancellation/rescheduling to avoid the cancellation fee.

Of course, there are reasons patients need to cancel an appointment, and this is fine provided you give adequate notice. This permits us to serve people on waiting lists in a timely fashion.

Therefore, in consideration of the practitioners' time and of other patients, we will charge full fee for any appointments not cancelled at least 2 business days (Monday through Friday) in advance. For example, if you have an appointment on Wednesday, you will need to call to cancel by the end of the day on Monday (by 5 pm). For appointments scheduled on Monday, you will need to call before the end of the day (5 pm) on Thursday. Appointments may not be cancelled outside of business hours, or on weekends.

We understand that some circumstances are unavoidable and these will taken into consideration. Exceptions to the cancellation policy can be made if you and your practitioner both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control.

Emergencies happen, and you will not be penalized for missing an appointment due to one. However, your appointment time is exclusively for you. If you miss an appointment for a reason that’s not a legitimate emergency, you will be charged $75.
